1. Leaders create the workplace culture which sets the standard for organizational performance. A healthy culture comes from the right beliefs, attitudes, and practices (a.k.a. behaviors) from all leaders in the business
2. Strength in leadership at the top is critical but business scalability is threatened if mid and front-line leaders don’t have the right skills
3. The most successful companies define clear leadership competency models at all levels and provide training and development to increase core leadership capability
4. Without core leadership capability organizational succession planning (critical for the long term success of all businesses) becomes very difficult
