We all want to be heard. It’s a fundamental desire for us all. We have opinions, values, and perspectives that are uniquely ours, evolve over time, and influence the people that we surround ourselves with. This desire to share and be heard, however, is often the thing that limits our interpersonal relationships. We’ve all experienced someone who never comes up for air, sabotages meetings, and/or loses focus because they are crafting the next thing to say. We probably do this ourselves too.
